The Boston series depict the city as one living being. Clouds, trees and roof deck railings are animated participants inside Boston’s various neighborhoods. The Brownstones, of course, take center stage and seem almost like portraits themselves. Boston streets come to life in the spring and summer, and that is what inspires me the most. This series eternalizes the beauty and warmth of a city that is traditional and daring at the same time. The red bricks, bright blue sky and green trees hide subtle hints of classic urban elements such as shops, restaurants and garages. There is a lot happening on these canvases, as there are on the streets of Boston.

Abstract works. Here are some of my most colorful pieces. You can click on any image, but if you don't see their info and price, it is because they are no longer available. However, if you like anything you see, we can customize a painting by mixing and matching colors, shapes and sizes from here.Abstract_Works.html
Besides being very colorful, my Rural Landscapes evoke a certain sense of excitement that comes with houses, crops, fences and trees. All of these individuals have a distinct job, and by working together, they show that these imaginary scenes are overflowing with life. Rural Landscapes comes as a prequel to my city escapes. Perhaps as a way to show life in an “early urban” environment. A new technique was applied to these canvases: after being painted, they all went through a process of sanding. This sanding gives the canvases a worn-out, denim-like look that matches the atmosphere of this collection.

CowParade, the world's most famous public art event, came to Boston to help the Jimmy Fund fight cancer! My BrownStone Cow was located on the corner of Newbury and Exeter Streets in Back Bay. It was adorned to evoke iconic Boston images such as the Prudential building, Hancock Tower, State House, and the many brownstone houses that make up Boston.CowParade_Boston.html

The Paper Flower series comes from an attempt to unite art with an urban attitude. Here, you'll find interesting shapes and colors, complemented by newspaper cutouts that occupy the many flowers, buildings and even sunglasses! Everything here has been coated with a heavy coat of gel medium, and also a very glossy varnish to give them that final spark. Hey, it's art for the urban individual, and priced for the masses.Paper_Flowers.html
